The BMW i3 is BMW's first all-electric vehicle, offering the latest in safety, comfort, and convenience features. The Standard Rear View Camera offers improved visibility during complicated maneuvers and the Park Distance Control offers extra automated guidance. Additional features including Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Frontal Collison Warning with City Collision Mitigation are available.

In the BMW i3 family, everything is intentional from the wheels on up. The revolutionary passenger module of the i3 and i3s is made from Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) - an incredibly strong material. The lightweight construction takes less energy to move, which means better maneuverability and better range. The 20" wheels, standard on the i3s and available for the BMW i3 are eye-catching.

By removing the B-pillar, using rear-hinged coach doors, and cleverly positioning the seats, the BMW i3 gives the driver and passengers plenty of room. The expansive moonroof accentuates the open feeling of the spacious interior, and the Standard Heated Front Seats make the BMW i3 comfortable to drive in cooler conditions. The designs incorporate natural materials like eucalyptus wood and olive leaf tanned leather to turn your BMW i3 into a relaxing atmosphere.

The i3 Range Extender is a 2-cylinder gasoline add on, which begins at $48,300. This is offered as an emergency backup to extend the range to about 200 miles.
